THE CAPACITY LAB MEMBERSHIP
Trauma-informed.
Somatic Lens.
Trauma-informed guided sessions, live support, & resources for women building felt safety, embodied presence, and thriving connection in marriage, motherhood, and life.
This page outlines how we work together, what this membership container offers, and the agreements that support safety, clarity, and meaningful change.
Is This Work a Fit For You?
This work is about building a felt sense of safety in the body so real choice becomes possible. It is learning how to stay present with what arises, rather than managing, bypassing, or overriding your experience. It is not about fixing yourself, performing regulation, or forcing trust, forgiveness, or connection before your system is ready. Change happens here through presence, attunement, and capacity building, not pressure or control.
Who this work is for
This work is for women who are self-aware, feel the tension between wanting connection and needing self-protection, and are no longer satisfied with choosing one over the other.
It’s for women who sense that something meaningful is possible in their marriage, even when it feels activating, confusing, or hard.
This work may be a fit if you:
Love your partner and still feel dysregulated, distant, reactive, or shut down
Are tired of analyzing your patterns and want support that reaches your body and your real relationships
Want to stay in relationship without abandoning yourself or suppressing your needs
Desire deeper repair, intimacy, and emotional safety over time
Want to model presence, repair, and inner authority for your children
Are willing to move slowly, build capacity, and let change emerge through lived experience
This work supports women who want to remain in relationship with agency rather than obligation.
Who this work is not for
This work may not be a fit if you are:
Looking for strategies to fix, manage, or change other people
Wanting certainty, outcomes, or answers without engaging in the process
Seeking relief through premature positivity or rushing toward forgiveness before integration
In a relationship that is currently unsafe and requires immediate protective or crisis support
Not open to exploring how your own nervous system shapes your relational experience
Looking for traditional talk therapy or support focused primarily on cognitive analysis without embodied exploration
This work is not about enduring harm, denying reality, or staying at all costs.
It is about building the internal and relational resources that make conscious, sustainable choice possible.
This work is an invitation and if it resonates, you’ll likely feel a sense of recognition rather than urgency.
The Work and The Container
Relationship coaching through a somatic lens helps you tune into your nervous system, build regulation skills, and strengthen your connection to yourself. This work is experiential and educational, supporting how you relate to yourself and others over time.
You are always in control of your pace and participation. Your body’s responses are respected and never forced or overridden.
Calls follow a structured format designed to help you get the most out of our time together. We move intentionally, sometimes slowing down to allow space for the body to process and integrate what we explore.
This work is not linear. Some challenges require repetition and multiple sessions before full integration occurs. That is the nature of supporting lasting change rather than quick fixes.
My role is to support, guide, and walk alongside you. I cannot guarantee outcomes. You are the expert on your own life; guidance I offer is always an invitation, never a requirement.
There is nuance to this work. It can take practice to tell the difference between discomfort that invites growth and something that is misaligned. My intention is to help you navigate stretching and settling while honoring your limits and pace.
If your needs ever fall outside the scope of my support, we will explore appropriate referrals together with care and respect.
Ts & Cs
The following terms outline the practical agreements that support this coaching container for both of us. This work is experiential and educational in nature and does not replace psychotherapy, medical care, or licensed mental health treatment.
1. Booking & packages
You can book calls as needed or schedule standing weekly/bi-weekly appointments. Packages and group coaching offer monthly payment options at a discounted rate.
Sessions in a package must be booked before your next payment date and occur within that billing period. Unused sessions do not roll over.
Monthly packages and group coaching require a 3-month minimum commitment. Payment is required at booking for single sessions, or monthly on the same date if enrolled in a package or group coaching. Payment options: Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay.
2. Rescheduling, missed calls & cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to adjust a call (note: group coaching calls cannot be rescheduled). When notice is honored, I will do my best to accommodate the change.
Missed calls are non-refundable, though grace may be extended for unpredictable life events.
Group coaching calls are recorded for replay if you cannot attend live.
Packages can be paused for busy seasons or life events; group coaching cannot be paused.
3. Session length & structure
All coaching calls are 60 minutes by default; longer sessions (up to 90 minutes) can be booked unless in group coaching or a monthly package.
Sessions end at the scheduled time. About five minutes before the end, I begin closing to help you leave feeling grounded. Remaining questions or follow-up can be shared via text support or brought to the next session.
4. Text support
Text support is an optional add-on that extends coaching between sessions, hosted in the WhatsApp coaching hub I create for you. It helps you stay accountable, feel supported, and deepen integration.
Text support covers one active challenge cycle within the 5 business days following a session or purchase of additional text support, or until your next session (whichever comes first). A challenge cycle includes questions, updates, somatic reflections, and coaching support related to either the challenge explored in session or one new challenge that emerges during that window.
The coaching and encouragement I respond with and your engagement (including back-and-forth) is considered part of the same challenge cycle.
Written messages are preferred; voice notes are welcome when more accessible but may take longer to respond to. Keep messages concise.
Text support is interactive. Engaging with coaching even briefly keeps the support respectful and sustainable.
5. Your role & my role
My role is to support, guide, and walk with you on your journey. I cannot guarantee outcomes. You are the expert on your life; guidance I offer is always an invitation.
This work requires nuance. It may take practice to discern the difference between discomfort that invites growth and something misaligned. I aim to help you navigate that. Additional optional resources may be recommended to support growth outside sessions.
6. Communication
Coaching is a safe, supportive space. All calls and communication are confidential and respectful. General insights may be referenced in writing or publications, never with identifying details.
Communication happens through WhatsApp (text support), Zoom, and email. Group Coaching has it’s own container for community interaction and communication. I aim to respond within 48 hours during business hours. Hours may shift; changes affecting communication or scheduled calls will be communicated promptly.
7. Terms Modification
Heidi Lakin reserves the right to update these terms, pricing, or session offerings with reasonable notice to members. Continued engagement with these services after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms.

Coaching sessions consist of 3 parts: highlights & takeaways open to anyone sharing, and the coaching portion where a volunteer receives coaching while everyone else observes.
Capacity Lab sessions (embodying capacity in community) guide you in practicing presence with triggers, activation, rest, and expansion, helping you Build The New in your nervous system and cultivate emotional safety and relational capacity.
Q&A sessions are where I answer questions around the skills and nervous system work we are implementing. Questions can be submitted prior to the call, or asked live (with the option to always remain anonymous).
Community support is to encourage each other and receive text support.
Discount on private coaching only applies while enrolled.
